1. Casa Guedes
Casa Guedes is one of the best restaurants to eat cheaply in Porto, offering incredible sandwiches from 3 euros. Their roast pork sandwiches with sauce or pork leg sandwiches are an institution in the city. You also have the option of adding cheese and a portion of homemade chips for a few euros more.
The restaurant is quite small, so if you find it full you can go to the other location at 76 Praça dos Poveiros or take your sandwich to eat outside.

2. Café Santiago
One of the best places to eat francesinha, one of Porto's typical dishes, is Café Santiago.
